Yoga Studio Chain Asks Supreme Court to Reverse Specific Performance Order

An attorney for a yoga studio chain told the Delaware Supreme Court on Wednesday the company shouldn’t be required to go through with its acquisition of a franchisee’s studios, as required by a rare Court of Chancery specific performance order issued in March.

Counsel for CorePower Yoga, the company that planned to take over studios from Level 4 Yoga, said the changes Level 4 made at the beginning of the pandemic and warranties in the asset purchase agreement entitled CorePower to step back from the deal.
