“Is yoga walking into the local boutique studio with a mat to exercise in a hot, 95-degree environment? Or is it traveling to India to meet with a guru who has a beard that’s longer than the red carpet at the Oscars? Technically, these are yoga. However, the answer goes beyond all the stereotypical versions of the practice. In its simplest, modern-day, Western definition, yoga means to bind, to create a union, to bring together – one breath, one movement,” explains Dan.
Aside from being a TEDx Speaker and Certified Yoga Instructor, Dan holds a Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling. He has spent more than a decade assisting his clients in improving their lives through an innovative health and wellness approach.
